Who Is Squad

In 1994, Suttle Thoughts was formed. The beginning of 2016 the band become known as Suttle. Suttle Squad, or Squad Suttle. The individual talent and background of this band brings a very unique and modern gogo sound, which yields us the ability to be versatile in providing multiple variations of music, such as, but not limited to Jazz, R&B, Go-Go, and Soft Rock. 

We have been blessed to open for National Recording Artists such as The Isley Brothers, Jay Holiday, Anthony David, just to name a few. Over the last decade, we have been blessed to secure weekly performances every Friday night at the Historical Takoma Station. This experience is considered one of the longest running Friday night happy hours for any Go-Go band.

The Squad has also performed for large local events and community rallies such as the Safeway Barbecue Battle, The Howard Theater, “A Tribute to the legendary father of Go-Go, Chuck Brown”, MPD Beat the Streets Annual Event, Six Annual Chuck Brown Day Virtual Party, Bethesda Blues & Jazz, WUSA channel 9 promoting an event in which parts of the proceeds were donated to the Autism Society of Northern Virginia to support families in that area.    

In addition to performing locally, we have expanded our reach as far as Cancun, Puerto Rico, Dallas, in addition to Miami. We have a loyal large following that reaches thousands which are comprised of our fans and followers who faithfully support us. These supporters have helped us consistently sell out shows 4-5 times a month, with a full schedule every weekend monthly.
